Changing spray irrigation with water efficient drip irrigation heads will help with stoping the water spraying against the rendered walls and also can improve the water usage by up to 70%. I live in the Redlands known for its red soil. When it rains it hits the red soil and sprays the red soil onto the rendered house walls which leaves a red ring of confidence around the house (especially new build homes). A lot of thought has to go into designing the landscaping to stop the constant staining of the walls. Its white in colour and we can only notice it on the dark part of the wall.
