You will love the grass!! We have it out the back and I thought I had killed it at the start of summer, as a mowed it a bit short and it went very brown. After about a month it is back to being beautifully green! My one recommendation is cut it a bit longer and more regularly then cutting it back too short, it doesn't like being cut short.
