Hi everyone, after two and a half years of waiting, we are near the end!! This week the bulldozers were going flat out on the estate. They were digging trenches for underground power and doing the drainage culverts. But better than that, all power is actually in now, and our block has been re-pegged. It's the first! We should have the soil sample back in a couple of weeks.
FINALLY HAPPENING
Here's a few pics. Work commenced in March 2012 (exactly one year later than the predicted build date!!)
This is the estate sign from the road, looking to where the civil works started.

Then once winter set in, everything stopped. Until... drainage works commenced September. Of course we need those spring rains too!!

Here's the existing soak, it will be landscaped. We have public open space opposite, the lake is further down the road.

I know you don't usually get pictures of the civil works, but I've waited for 2 and a half years since we put our deposit down on our little half acre, so indulge me, please!!
These last pics are of the two national forests, jarrah forest on eastern boundary of the estate, and kauri forest on Caves road going towards the beach.

We have been told titles will be fast-tracked for end of October/early November. Fingers crossed our little half acre heaven will be ours very very soon!!
