The roofers are visiting again next week to complete the sun shading canopy. No down pipes yet so not sure when they will be installed. But at this stage we think the house is looking pretty good. Can you pls tell me what the two render colours and window frame colours are? HD Re: SA build - Oh gosh love my pendant *pic* 105Apr 16, 2013 12:00 pm thank you all for the compliments, the pendant looks so much better than I imagined, I am so happy with it. thanks 4evaesh, the 2 render colours are dulux flooded gum (top level) and dulux tristan (ground level) now I'm not sure if the ground level colour has been done in this picture. As for the window frames they are clear anodised aluminium Re: SA build - Oh gosh love my pendant *pic* 106Apr 18, 2013 8:21 pm Your home is absolutely stunning!! I am eyeing off the exact same pendant light for our stairwell. Does it give off plenty of light? I love it coz it matches the single light pendant lights we bought for over the island bench. I think it would look fantastic in a stairwell! Thats a great light as well cinder! They are so affordable as well. I liked the random-ness of the light we picked with the different sized drops at random heights etc. I also thought it would match well with the shape of our rangehood Apparently carpet went in today and last week we had the new driveway poured. Well done a wonderful journey Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 112Apr 22, 2013 11:44 pm Yes it appears the house is large, we were quoted for the cleaning and it is very expensive!! Not sure what I was expecting but was a little shocked when the quote for internals + windows was over $2k. I am very worried about how we will keep the house clean once we move in and everyone seems to bring it up as a cause for concern. Oh well, not much we can do about it now really Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 113Apr 23, 2013 5:43 am house is fantastic pellana wow that is alot for cleaning i am sure there would be a better price out there i have just booked our cleaners to clean both old and new house $25 per hour Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 114Apr 23, 2013 7:06 am The house looks fabulous! You must be excited now with your move in date so close We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! The 29th is not move in date, the cleaners have been booked for the 3rd however we have lots of things being delivered to the house on the 2nd so the plan is to start moving over that weekend. 1rocky I agree that is heaps. Not sure how much the cleaners charge per hour but the quote for internals was approx $950 and that was for 25 hours. I assume if they plan to do it all in one day there will be a team of people but don't know exactly. The builders were a little surprised by the cost so did get another place to quote and it was the same price give or take $10. The quote to clean the windows was $1200. I understand we have lots of windows but man that is a lot!!! But thankfully a deal has been done so we are pleased with the outcome. We went out to the house today as the carpet has been put down and the stairs up have had some work done to them. All the appliances have been installed and the site fence has been removed. The painters still have a bit of work to do in the inside and outside of the house plus there are some fix ups that are being completed. Did I mention our outdoor kitchen was made 15mm too small and so the BBQ didn't fit. Thankfully the kitchen people came back and replaced the cabinet however we are still waiting for the stone to be cut again for the benchtop. I have a few pictures that I will try to upload tonight once the kids go to bed. Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 118Apr 25, 2013 7:41 pm when you consider 25 hours that is not to bad. as it is a very big house. will not be long now congrats Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 120Apr 26, 2013 5:24 am house is fantastic love the fridge etc 8 6176 Hi, we live in an area where the black soil is prone to a lot of movement.
