Re: SA build - we're moving in next week 124May 02, 2013 10:15 pm Well we are moving in this weekend but won't be staying there until the week after as the builder hasn't arranged to have the door handles installed until the 6th. But we had heaps of deliveries today of all our new furniture. We also had our curtains installed so I have a few pics of that Kids rumpus Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Living room Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And another of our light (the windows in the background have been tinted) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 125May 02, 2013 10:22 pm Wow Pellana - looking great! Your living room curtains are similar to what I want in my master bedroom. Are they sheer with a blockout backing? The pendant light gives off plenty of light, I think I'm sold on it now for the stairwell. Spills light all around! Yes the curtains are sheers with a blockout at the back they are on a double track hung from the ceiling, they look fantastic! Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 127May 02, 2013 10:29 pm Exactly the same curtain style I want! Which company did you use? It looks like they did a great job. Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 130May 03, 2013 1:01 am how much is that curtain may i ask?? i also need one that is 7.5m of curtains with a 2.7m drop on my home theater room. 7.5M Dual Frontage terrace @ lightsview SA /viewtopic.php?f=31&t=58754 moved in - April 2014 furnitured - August 2014 home theatre - September 2014 Game room - December 2013 moved in - 09 April 2014 Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 133May 03, 2013 1:21 am thanks CC101 we think they look amazing and I hope they look great during the day as well with the block outs pulled across. One hitch though is that the security people put a sensor in the corner near the garage door and it is now covered with a curtain, so we are going to have to get that fixed. Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 135May 03, 2013 4:49 am did you actually ask how much will it cost if it's one piece instead of three??? also, i will use 2+3 layers...i guess that will bump a lot last time i got quoted around $6000 7.5M Dual Frontage terrace @ lightsview SA /viewtopic.php?f=31&t=58754 moved in - April 2014 furnitured - August 2014 home theatre - September 2014 Game room - December 2013 moved in - 09 April 2014 Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 136May 03, 2013 6:04 pm No I never asked for the cost of one single curtain as there are 3 windows which we wanted 3 curtains for so we could use each window and each curtain opens differently so as to not block any of the glass. I can imagine it would cost a lot for a 7.5m curtain as you would need a truck just to deliver the tracks Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 137May 03, 2013 10:18 pm I'm a fan, ther curtains look really good, such a big span! Good idea to make it usable for each of the windows i think Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 138May 04, 2013 12:55 am Ohhh I love curtains. They look gorgeous. So close now. Re: SA build - curtains have been installed 139May 13, 2013 3:37 pm Well we've done it, we moved in on the 5th of May, and we still have a huge amount of work to do to get everything unpacked.. I haven't managed to take any nice pictures yet, except of the kitchen but the kids rooms are all set and the playroom is nice and cosy. We still have trades booked in to come and finish some stuff off but otherwise we are all set. We are really enjoying our new location!
