ResCode Regulations - Anyone familiar with them?

Anyone know where i can get a copy of the rescode regulations?

I need to check something and its very frustrating!

I'm pretty sure I found them on my council's website. Can't remember for sure though; hopefully someone else might have a more definitive answer.

The requirements of Rescode are mostly incorporated into each councils planning scheme and is not a standalone document. You can look up the planning scheme for each council at the link below.

thanks for that info... the site is a little hard to navigate yourself thru it if you don't understand what their talking about... which is my case.... :oops:

mmm... i managed but i'm still not clear on it, may need to visit the local council and get there opinion.

I'm after the overlooking rescode...

building double storey and neighbour is single... one of the bedroom windows overlooks neighbours window

we have been told 3 different things regarding measurments of screening needed by our builder and they've ** me off!

Clause 54.04 should be the part you are looking for. If you are not clear, best to contact the planning department at your local council and try and get something in writing from them.
