Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 14, 2012 9:45 pm Hi everyone, I am new to the forum as my partner and I are hopefully only weeks away from deciding on a builder to build our first home. We are very green with all of this and are finding it all very daunting. Has anyone gor any feedback for me in regards to blueprint homes? We are leaning towards them, but just wanting to get some feedback from real people. How did you find their sales/customer service people? Their building team? Are they helpful and willing to explain things to newbies? I would love to hear of other people's experiences. We are hoping to build in the 'Trinity' estate of Alkimos. Cheers Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 3Sep 16, 2012 10:09 pm Hi Natnjono, I really havent come across many posts of people building with Blueprint homes but i searched blueprint on here and came up with a few pages search.php?keywords=blueprint+ I hope that helps Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 4Sep 16, 2012 10:20 pm Blueprint were in our final four. But after speaking to two reps who were going to make a few changes to house plans for us, we didnt hear from either rep. Went to one and wsited for a reply and a month later went to another rep and still nothing. We loved their designs...but know we got a better product wiyh who we finally went with! Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 5Sep 16, 2012 10:33 pm Thanks for that Mary. TheVans - can I ask where you are building and who you ended up going with. My main concern is all the "extras". There are a few other builders offering things that will cost extra with blueprint, but have not heard many good things about the others. Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 6Sep 16, 2012 10:35 pm Also, I'm hoping the rep we have spoken to is ok. Out of all the reps I have spoken to, he is the only one I haven't wanted to take a sledgehammer to his face afterwards. Some can be so pushy. And we met with him in the display at 4:30 and left at5:30. He didn't rush us and was happy to answer any questions. Regardless of how "dumb" they may have been. Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 7Sep 16, 2012 10:47 pm We built with dale alcock and moved in in june. So happy with our gome! We spoke with a rep for blue print in harrisdaleand meadow springs. Liked both but no follow up! We went through dales as although the base price was more expensive, thay had everything we wanted....needed. Prestart saw the wants come in ;-P but other builders needed too much upspecking! If we had upgraded with blue print to the dales specs we would have spent more $$$. Good luck with your decision! Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 9Sep 16, 2012 11:08 pm Thanks for that Vans. We have spoken to the rep in Butler. So hopefully he is decent. I must say I was think DAH but wasn't sure as, like you said, the start cost is more but after adding things with blueprint it would save more money... hmmm. What to do. Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 10Sep 17, 2012 7:36 am Hi NatNJono, My daughter & her partner have just built a house through BluePrint homes and they (BlurPrint) were brilliant. She altered the original plan and even added a 3/4 verandah around the home with no problems. Just remember that, as with any builder, you have to pay for any structual changes, but even with the changes, they got a great house at a great price. I wish you all the very best with your new home. Hi NatNJono, Have you selected a builder so far? We are building with Blue Print and very happy. Let me know if you're still after this? Hubby and I went thru a lot of builders and the rep from Blue Print was just the Best, we decided to stay with them and we are happy with selection. Regards, Mary Re: BluePrint Homes in Perth 14Nov 16, 2012 9:55 am don't use product review - it is filled with ****** and false testimonials. I think all you can is look at all the deals about and go with a well known builder. HomegroupWA (formerly Scott Park) have got a fantastic promotional home - if I wasn't so close to contracts I would probably be snapping that one up. Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74688 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105492 |
