I have a house which I dont think had a proper site clean and there is evidence that the they have just raised the ground level to avoid tipping charges. Quiet interesting. PD seem to think it was ok to burry cement and other debris and that it was normal even though I could see broken bricks and roof tiles. The site is a hazard in my eyes because there are contaiminents in the soil and anyone that is handling soil etc need to be ultra carefull. Had the Site supervisor down and his manager however they were very defensive about the situation and where really pushing the fact that I was going top have to do the concrete etc and remove soil. However I didnt think it was fair that the owner has to pay to remove excess soil that I felt should be removed by the builder. The are obviously trying to save to much money. I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this.
