Hi,
I am new with this.
Do we need solicitor or conveyancer just for the land only or both land and builder?
how much average for land only and land and builder?
Please let me know. Thank you.

A solicitor would just charge their usual hourly rate for this. I recommend a solicitor that specialises in property law over a conveyancer. Although most transactions should be relatively straight forward, in the event there is an issue a solicitor will be better placed to handle issues that are outside the scope of what a conveyancer can do. Also if a solicitor are engaged from the outset, they will be across the issue which would save money in the long run - rather than having to bring them up to speed. Both my build contracts have been HIA contracts - so pretty straightforward and easy to understand. That being said we also got our solicitor to review to make sure that there wasn't anything in there that we should be worried about. As it was said above, this is probably the most expensive purchase that you will ever make - to enter into such a contract without sound legal advice... well at the end of the day people make their own choices. You may still have a case, but your next step is to speak to a lawyer. 3 1607 Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20354 Sounds like rubbish to me. Ask for the contamination report which I doubt they have. If it's part of a normal subdivision it would have had a contamination report done… 9 5641 |
