Stack is on my list as is Double stack. Also 1/2 Tapa, Tapa, and dbl Tapa. Having now seen Stack on a house exterior is fantastic Make sure you post pics of the interior colours.....We also love bold, strong colours. Our bedroom is Taubmans Trendy, which is basically black and we just love it. Very dramatic and cocoon like. So stick to your guns with the colours you like, after all visitors leave, you will live there everyday..... Re: Stellabella's 1st build - Interior paint opinions? 394Feb 07, 2013 9:22 am Don't worry about scarying people just do what you love. A lot people aren't keen on my teal splashback I plan to do but I love it so screw them hahaha Re: Stellabella's 1st build - Interior paint opinions? 395Feb 07, 2013 10:13 am Resene double stack is a nice color no doubt Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ perfect background for any modern pendant Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ or a luxurious chandelier!! we've chosen dulux "deep caribbean" for the main bedroom feature wall they both are reach in color and should make white or natural wood color furniture stand out Re: Stellabella's 1st build - Interior paint opinions? 396Feb 07, 2013 6:01 pm I personally love dark colours, and I think if you have a fair bit of natural light coming in and light furniture, it will be beautiful. And I love that others are going for bold, dark colours too RW, we actually have a chandelier going above the dining room table (was originally supposed to go in the entry but it will hang too low) and a 5-light pendant above the kitchen bench, so there is plenty of bling going on. You can see photos on page two of this thread Didn't get there to take any pics today, but our website gets updated every week on a Friday so I'll have some tomorrow 1st build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59376 *New*-2nd build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70324&p=1154282#p1154282 Re: First home owners building in QLD :) - Colour selection 398Feb 08, 2013 8:03 am stellabella, they are gorgeous!!!! as you said "there is plenty of bling going on" Personally I think the "bling" style will never date, it is rather industrial etc. styles that may go out of fashion but not the classically elegant look. Surprisingly chandeliers cost less these days which makes them even more attractive Re: Stellabella's 1st build - Interior paint opinions? 399Feb 08, 2013 3:12 pm I love dark colours too, and I love the shade you've chosen! I reckon it'll look awesome Building our first home - Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=60033 Re: Stellabella's 1st build - Interior paint opinions? 400Feb 08, 2013 11:33 pm Thanks guys! I can't wait to see it all come together. Just over a month, hopefully! We heard from the cabinet maker that they are having a delay with the kitchen, apparently they are waiting for the cupboard doors from Sydney - have already been waiting for two weeks, and haven't been given a date when they will have them yet. Oh well! The tiler has started, thought I would post some pics - though they are a bit dirty haha: Looking from near the door to the alfresco towards the entry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The dining area with the kitchen on the right Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And the ensuite shower nearly ready: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Starting to get exciting! 1st build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59376 *New*-2nd build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70324&p=1154282#p1154282 Ideally you would engage a landscaper to give you some insight what they may need in the space to make your vision come to life… 1 13807 I ended up going with 'Andrew Belic Construction Co.' https://www.instagram.com/andrewbelicconstruction/ 2 59797 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair That laser level looks lovely!
