Browse Forums Building A New House Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 662Jul 29, 2013 11:55 am Just realised we will have to pay for the builders water and electricity consumption..................is this going to be a huge amount ? Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64997&start=40 Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 663Jul 29, 2013 5:20 pm I had $40 for Water Usage = 31000 kl of Water!! That's a lot of water. Electricity has been very small amount. Worse part is getting a $1000 Rates bill and no tip passes as it is vacant land Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 664Jul 29, 2013 6:32 pm We had about an $80 bill for water....& yes, rates with no Tip passes Noice one :S Our RedInk Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64118&p=1004131#p1004131 ** Timeline Page 1 Moved In - 19.12.13 Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 666Aug 01, 2013 1:41 am If you go to the Rubbish tip, you need to pay, or use a voucher/pass/ticket thing. When you pay your shire rates, you get a certain number for "free". I was wondering if we'd get those now we have paid our rates. Bummer. Will the rates change once the house is finished? Will we get tip passes then? ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Don't quote me on it though... I've had 3 water bills so far and only 1 electricity bill. Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 669Aug 01, 2013 9:39 am I got tip passes with current house rates so just us them. We rarely use ours though but may come in handy when we move. Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 671Sep 04, 2013 1:47 pm What was your waiting time for the brickies to get to site? 4 weeks after the slab down seems too much for me? Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 672Sep 04, 2013 1:53 pm We waited 5 weeks & 4 days from slab down to brickies starting. The slab is supposed to sit for approx 3 weeks before bricking starts though. Have you been given a start date / week?? There is a HUGE shortage of brickies in WA atm, so most of us have waited 4-8 weeks, some longer :S Our RedInk Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64118&p=1004131#p1004131 ** Timeline Page 1 Moved In - 19.12.13 Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 673Sep 04, 2013 2:12 pm I was told that our house is next but it will take 2,5 more weeks before they start. I was just wondering if it is a general issue (obviously it is) or a builder specific. Thanks! Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 674Sep 04, 2013 6:31 pm Our was just under 5 weeks. Ive been told average is like 5-6 weeks now but some have been up to 8 weeks Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 675Sep 05, 2013 4:44 pm I just read that it's been confirmed for a Big W to be built at Baldivis along with Woolworths And the post office should be finished soon, so exciting Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 676Sep 05, 2013 6:22 pm Interesting since they just recently did Big W in Kwinana hehe. Yay for woollies but going to need ALOT more carparks as I go secret harbour woollies to avoid how busy Baldivis shops are haha Ive heard rumours there will be David Jones in Baldivis at some point too Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 677Sep 05, 2013 10:34 pm Great news. Are you guys thinking of selling up too, Ronni, or are you talking about down the track? Did you know that a block in stage 2 (Chelsea release) had a sale fall over - block only - and they re-sold....for $50K more? And this was a few months ago too! Mind you, it was a premium lot, but still Our thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64272 Purchased land August '12 Titles Jan 27 '13 Prestart - Jan '13 4 14398 |
