Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 642Jun 15, 2013 9:18 pm Your house looks very relaxing Ronni Charlie, we will be just around the corner from you, opposite the school. We finally got a building contract yesterday (finance needs them Monday) and they are the biggest load of poppycock I have ever read. How many days do your contracts specify the home will be finished in? Mine is 60 + 300. Is that normal!? I was told we'd be in by Dec. Feb at latest. ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! When we signed our contracts it stated that they had 250 days from the slab being laid to complete the house. BUT the Pre Start lady said that it had only been taking 6-7 months rather than the 9-10!!! I don't expect to be in my house until mid Feb 2014 & that's with us having signed up end Jan 2013. :O tasl33m - welcome to baldivis! ClaireJ - Wow congrats on having a quick turn around for Pre Start & good luck. Us - Nothing much happening here, waiting for an update on a timeframe to see what's happening when, not holding my breath for it though! I had just finished washing the floor when one of the workmen asked to use the bathroom. With dismay I looked from his muddy boots to my newly scrubbed floors. “Just a minute,” I said, thinking of a quick solution. “I’ll put down newspapers.” “That’s all right, lady,” he responded. “I’m already trained.” Re: WA - Baldivis/Waikiki Group Chat 656Jul 01, 2013 9:57 am Does anyone know what is the situation with the fibre optic Internet cables in Evermore heights? You can use a couple of other providers at the moment but no real competition as yet, however it is open for more competition in the future. http://www.itnews.com.au/News/287903,te ... rties.aspx Our build thread with Redink 11/1 - Prestart 5/4 - Slab 29/4 - Brickwork 27/5 - Roof Cover 20/6 - Lock Up 20/8 - PCI 10/9 - Handover 4 14454 |
