Has anyone else had any soil issues shown at seaford meadows after footings and drains have been dug? I'm talking about the large-fist sized and larger chunks of spoil that trades have left down the sides of houses after digging drains etc...
I'm just worried having such large chunks put back into trenches will make it hard to compact soil further down the track with large voids potentially created from the large rock-like soil chunks.
I know there are rules as to what size rubble can go back into trenches but judging from what has been put on the top I'm a bit unsure about what may have been put below. I spent a good amount of time at the block over the weekend removing rocks I could see to make it easier when we move in.
Makes me worried about what kind of plants would actually grow in the garden with such dense soil! I may be worrying about nothing but realty SA could have put in some nicer top soil for the price of the land!
