You'll get a PCI after slab and it will probably say December or January but the other builds seem to be getting in a little earlier. You may be one of those week before christmas cases. Three kids, a move and Xmas might send me over the edge lol!! Hahaha, yes that will do it. If they aren't doing flooring that should make it faster. Any paving? Don't think splash back will make a huge difference time wise though. Re: South @ Seaford Meadows 469Jun 01, 2013 8:54 pm If they aren't doing your flooring, it'll definitely be quicker. I'd be moving in this weekend if it weren't for the fact fairmont are doing our floors! Feel free to follow our build! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59958 Re: South @ Seaford Meadows 473Jun 02, 2013 8:19 pm Yeah I saw that when looking at Sammy's back yard and looking down a few. Although council website clearly says that it doesn't allow footings for fencing I think that may be a bit more acceptable than obviously huge footings for retaining walls. I didn't get a chance to follow it up Friday. Going to call tomorrow or Tuesday. I've tried not to think about it for a while. Stresses me out Re: South @ Seaford Meadows 474Jun 04, 2013 4:32 pm So I called council today....... Definitely drainage easement belonging to council on our street. Definitely cannot build any permanent structures such as retaining walls or fence posts over an easement. You can also not cut or fill over an easement. Any change to the easement must be requested through the council with the application form I previously mentioned. At $500 even if it is denied. I did ask about the fence post and she said it can be allowed if the position is guaranteed but again must contact council. She did say it is a case by case approval though. They don't encourage changes to an easement and can ask you to revert back any change done without permission. She is sending me through guidelines which I am happy to email out if you pm me your email address. Hope that helps. Surely you would be able to erect a property line fence as normal? Surely you would be able to erect a property line fence as normal? You would think! Think this is the least of their concerns over what can and can't be done though. Haven't read guidelines. Just got email so will let you know. You are with a different council though aren't you? May not be the same. Oh and it's not the one behind it that is in question, it is the ones going across it.
