Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 26, 2008 3:58 pm Watersun homes? They are in Melbourne, mainly north west suburbs i think.
We have paid a deposit, for house and land. Really like their display home, Just what we were looking for, they seem to be well priced, although not too sure about the pricing of their upgrades. they have an inclusions list on their website if anyone wants to have a look. We will be building the ashgrove 27 and changing it a bit to add in a walk in pantry behind where the fridge is, and a long robe on the wall in the front room which will be a study. Can i ask them to supply me with a few references? I just can't find any more info on them. Thanks Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 5Mar 28, 2008 4:02 pm Hmmm .... I was thinking the same thing. We built our dream home on acreage nearly a year ago. House #2 with Adenbrook and we love it! I didn't ask for references but did ask for a list of houses being built so we could do a drive by. Then I just knocked on one of their doors and the owners gave a glowing spontaneous review. Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 11Aug 13, 2008 9:08 am hello,
Didn't get around to asking for references. I did find a couple of houses for sale that they built which look good. We are finalising our upgrades and contract this weekend, and will post my blog with the progress soon. thanks Rosie Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 12Aug 13, 2008 7:11 pm ken2128 JG King Homes, The frames are also rust proof and as a plus it's better for the environment as it saves trees and steel is recyclable. Now that's drawing a very long bow. Timber (especially plantation pine) is a renewable resource. Steel is not. Recyclable, yes, renewable, no. Look at the ecological footprint of a steel smelter compared to a plantation sawmill and I think it's pretty obvious which one comes out on top. Justin. Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 13Aug 31, 2008 8:08 pm Thanks for asking Rosie! After searching just about every display home in our area, we found the Ashgrove 2700 and loved it too! I also was looking for info/feedback on the builders (without luck) so I will be interested to see how you go with them. Good luck! watersun homes 14Jan 04, 2009 1:57 pm Hi Rosie, I hope you have your home ready and you have moved in by now.

just finished building 40square home on 5 acres with perry homes Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 18Jan 05, 2009 4:32 pm Hi
I took a look at the displays the homes were nice and the sales person very friendly. I asked if they are able to provide references if we chose to build and the sales rep said she would investigate the possibility - so you may as well give it a go. Best of luck with the house! Re: Anyone heard of? or built with ? 19Jan 05, 2009 8:29 pm base price for the Scarborough was $196,900 when i spoke to the guy mid december... i believe the prices may have gone up a small amount now its teh new year as most builders have! In the base price they include - down lights, larger shower, dual basins in ensuite, alfresco which the others do not include. 2nd build here we come in Whittlesea! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=92617 1st Build - Henley - Cooper in Doreen! I am going to sign a contract with watersun on next tuesday. I asked for references but was not given a satisfactory reply. Can people who are building with or have built with watersun provide some insight into how the experience has been for them? Look forward to hearing something soon.
