Re: External Colours Help for new house 2Aug 27, 2012 11:55 pm Hi It's John from over the road......hope all is going well. We have been approved and just finalising in the contract now. Hopefully start building in a few weeks!! I noticed Sam's fence it still intact Re: External Colours Help for new house 4Aug 29, 2012 8:36 pm Hi Hills Your brick goes well with Monument and Evening haze. The timber look garage and door will be a nice contrast. I found picking the external colours the hardest to choose, but I got soft copies of all my different colours with the brick and put them in different combinations in a word document. By seeing all the colours together helped us finally decide. Good luck! We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Its mainly the render, i like so many colours but against the brick they look so different. Its hard to imagine on such a large scale let alone on our design. Thanks for the tip i might do that. Have you got a slab yet? It can't be too much longer. External Colours Help for new house 6Aug 30, 2012 7:30 pm I know what you mean about brick samples, looks different from the little wall at the brick display, makes it so hard to make a decision. No slab yet, no work on the block this week, but DH couldn't go up today so maybe something was done? No communication at all so we have no idea when piering or slab etc will be done. So we wait again!!!!! We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Also thanks for the pointer on sheathing, thats me watching too many american youtube videos! 6 2813 Before you rip it up, if you can in the grout lines, drill some holes and pour/inject techgrip by sika. I have used it to bond mdf to timber, but in the process it dripped… 1 4299 |
