We are considering building on 1 or 2 acres if we can't find an existing home that we like. I have never built before and really have no idea about the process. I have heard that site cost can blow out unexpectedly. So I am wondering what exactly is included in site costs? I don't want to forget something in my budgeting and end up way over budget.
Thanks in advance.

site costs can vary a lot and most builders dont deal with this in the early stages. we are talking about site clearing, excavation, access, fall, height out of the ground for floors, sewer, stormwater, termites, bushfire, sub-surface soil problems, trees and more. check out clark new homes website and if you still have questions ask me leighton
