As our bricks are starting before the roof, and the above mentioned wrap is due to be installed just before the bricks go on, how does this allow the internal work to start at the same time as the brick work when there is no roof to protect the internal work from the elements?
Also, this being the case, how will this provide a 4 week reduction to the build time as promised in our Tender by M?
Basically, am I spending $700 on this wrap just for its insulation properties and no reduction to the build time, which I was really hoping for, and promised via their advertising and the contract?
If this doesnt provide the 4 week reduction, what can be done about this in terms of refund or compensation?
We were going to do the enviroseal but was told by the salesman not to waste our money as it made no difference to build time and they wont start your inside until you have a roof and bricks anyway(i have never seen anyone have their gyprock done before their bricks). Our home was completed 4-6 weeks earlier without it, we started in january and had heaps of rain throughout our build. In terms of refund good luck, its hard enough to get them to fix something let alone give you money back.
