Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 23, 2012 10:51 am Hi, We are considering building on 1 or 2 acres if we can't find an existing home that we like. I have never built before and really have no idea about the process. I have heard that site cost can blow out unexpectedly. So I am wondering what exactly is included in site costs? I don't want to forget something in my budgeting and end up way over budget. Thanks in advance. Re: site costs 2Aug 24, 2012 6:48 am site costs can vary a lot and most builders dont deal with this in the early stages. we are talking about site clearing, excavation, access, fall, height out of the ground for floors, sewer, stormwater, termites, bushfire, sub-surface soil problems, trees and more. check out clark new homes website and if you still have questions ask me leighton I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13063 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15934 Henley should give you some indication of site costs.
