Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 44Feb 18, 2013 8:21 pm Hey guys exciting day for us! Frame went up and windows in! So excited tonight. Only blip is the front windows should have been double hung and they have out wind outs in. Hubby and I are now thinking of which way to go wind out windows are nice as they bring in just a little bit of air, but don't know how they will go with fly screens so gotta think about what we do. But so excited that we have a frame really starting to feel real now! Buts here are a couple of pictures. Hope everyone else is going well! I think they put the fly screens inside with wind out windows I don't know how much breeze they let in though. Its so exciting to go have a look and see that they have done something new. Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 46Feb 27, 2013 2:44 pm Hi everyone we are also building in SpringFarm - Lowan St and we are building Beechwood Verdehlo Jazz. I know someone is also building the Verdehlo just wondering what facade you chose ?? and what other design is the other building. Did you guys have any problems with Beechwood taking so long with paperwork. Interested in hearing from you guys and what colour schemes you are picking for the outside ??? talk soon Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 47Mar 14, 2013 8:11 pm Hi everyone, we are thinking of buying in stage 5 of the land release, does anyone have any concerns or has smelt the tip much? Thanks Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 48Mar 17, 2013 2:35 am Hi everyone! We have just placed a deposit down on Stage 4! Beckham St is where we currently are looking to build our first home just a couple of things which I feel you other East Villagers might have some info on: - Has anyone ran into any trouble with easements? We have one running just off where out back fence would be! - Has anyone noticed that the Stage 3&4 Plan and the layout of the actual pegs on the real land are slightly off? Is this a common thing or could it just be our block has a mistake? - Has everyone had to build on a H slab? Or has M been okay? Looking forward to hearing from you all! Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 49Mar 18, 2013 10:39 pm Hi hammo4 we are building the verdhelo as well. We picked the Seville facade.

Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 53Mar 29, 2013 11:05 am celstar I'm sure she said its council. Have you spoken to her again because when I spoke to her in January she was sure it wouldn't be complete till June. So I'm happy if its April lol Every time I have spoken to her, she told me March/April. I hope that it is early April as I would like to get started on this. If not, at least I have more time to save lol. Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 54Apr 01, 2013 10:24 pm alli celstar I'm sure she said its council. Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 57Apr 16, 2013 4:47 pm Hammo4, We are also building in East Village! We are going with Verdehlo twist. Just heard our plans have been approved and have had our first appointment with colour selections- did anyone find that app quite rushed!? Not sure if I feel confident with all the decisions we made :/ Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 58Apr 16, 2013 7:43 pm Hi Denbar where are you and blogger3456 building. I noticed beechwood homes being built in Garton - 1 has the frame up the second has just had piers done. What facade did you go with. We are currently in council and we went with vogue 1 design? do you know if beechwood homes include a gas point inside anywhere.? are they standard or not. Have you guys started to build yet? looking forward to hearing back from you Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 59Apr 27, 2013 8:33 am Still waiting for the land to be registered from release 3/4. Apparently land and titles office are holding things up. I'd love to know my street number and actually get things started before the new financial year. I'm shopping around for a new job and I cant change until I get my mortgage. Boo Re: ANYONE BUILDING AT EAST VILLAGE, SPRING FARM? 60May 08, 2013 7:14 pm Hi All; Hope all the builds are coming along well. Ours is tracking very fast now, felt like the brick stage took forever (3 or 4 weeks) as we only had one brickie doing the work but so glad he did because he did a fabulous job! We are at lock up which sucks that we can't get in and have a look anymore but our gyprocking is done and apparently it is being painted this weekend! Hard to see at night now that it is dark. I'm very happy with how Nu Era have been, we have had a few hiccups but from reading this forum seems like most builders have that. We have had a fairly major hickup with the roof which cannot be fixed which nobody notices but me but otherwise everything else has been going quite well. Looking forward to having the new area released and being able to take my niece and furbabies up to the park. But i'm sure all of you in stages 3-5 are also excited about the release. Looks like a really nice area i have taken a few drives up there, almost sad we didn't wait to be up that end, but love our house and block so wouldn't change it.
