Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 07, 2012 2:14 pm Hi everyone, I can't find the answer I'm looking for, so I'm posting here again! You must all be sick of me by now! So, I'm building with fairmont homes in SA, and the stormwater is not included in the house package. I'm sure it'll be easy enough to find someone to install it, but I'd like to know if having a drainage easement will affect this? When the storm water pipe is installed, does it connect to the drainage easement? Am I allowed to build over where the stormwater pipe is installed? So confused as I'm still so new to all of this! Also, does anyone in SA (seaford way!) have any good contacts for stormwater installation? Thanks all Feel free to follow our build! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59958 Re: Installing stormwater (not included in package) 2Aug 07, 2012 3:57 pm You'll find out all info when you get your engineer report & council application. Your council application will tell you the exact path your stormwater should go. So all you need to do is give that to a plumbing company or escavation company to quote on installation. Or just do it your self if you have a handy family/friends hey there! π so, itβs kinda common for standard drawer depths to be around 500mm since most cabinets use this size to fit the usual runners… 3 20906 Plumbers 'can be' plumbers, made all the worse by self certification which the building surveyor invariably accepts as proof of compliance! The good thing is that you know know. 3 4859 Grab a hose, insert it at the top of the inlet/down pipe and turn the water on and see where the water is escaping from. Then you'll know. 3 8465 |
