We have now unpacked the container and had it taken away. Hubby has sealed all the walls (except bathrooms) and done first coat on one daughter's room.

I have had my first spa!!

600x600 porcelain tiles but hubby wants the house to settle for a year !!!!gah!!!!

Are u serious!! How good is your pad? We were originally going to do that but ours was so dusty there is no way i could do it!! Good luck:)

Don't know how long I will cope, but Hubby is going to seal the concrete this weekend so that will solve the dust problem. We have loads of rugs from our renting days

If its sealed then its definately doable! Very easy to clean and u wont have to worry about scratches!

Btw, how long with that scullery stay looking so neat and organised?

also.... Bedroom and Theatre room carpets go in on Monday - so it is only the open plan area that will stay concrete

Is there a reason for leaving the tiling for a year. Will be interested to hear what it is.

House settles and cracks appear in your tiles. Friend advised, they have large cracks in their bathroom tiles due to the movement. Can't attest to the truth, but if anyone knows otherwise, would love to hear it

Hi Donna, it's been a while and I've missed a lot.
Your home is beautiful and you are amazingly organised already.
Brave lady about the floor but I guess if he's sealing it, it should be ok.
I think your friend has a good point especially if your pad has already some fine cracks through it. It's only 12 months. The only painful thing is shifting the furniture.
Lovely spa, jealous as!!
