My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 534Aug 29, 2013 9:31 pm Almost there Donna! Our RedInk Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64118&p=1004131#p1004131 ** Timeline Page 1 Moved In - 19.12.13 Re: Baldivis Rivergums - PCI today 535Sep 04, 2013 8:32 pm Hubby went to the PCI today. I missed out due to new job but I will take time off for Handover Everything is pretty spot on just a few loose ends. Valuer came at the same time so should hear from the bank by end of the week. It's been a good build, great quality and highly recommend Ventura. All of our problems have been accommodation related, I don't advise building if you are subject to the whims of Landlords, if you have a 12 month lease locked away, then yes. If we were a young couple that could live with folks or friends it would be okay but having teenage Daughters put extra pressure on us. Then I lost my job and in a really different environment at the new one. Thankfully I had a casual workplace during the paperwork stage so I could have internet access Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 536Sep 04, 2013 9:19 pm Congratulations Donna!! I bet it will be a huge relief when you get those keys I don't know how you are still sane after this process but I hope your house lives up to all your expectations and becomes a beautiful home for you and your family to make new memories Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 537Sep 04, 2013 9:57 pm Glad pci went well. I don't know if I've already said this but I love how you have put the double basin in the girls bathroom and the bath and single basin in the ensuite. I really wish we had done that. I also love your kitchen and scullery. Can't wait to see some move in pics! My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 538Sep 04, 2013 11:05 pm Thanks guys - we move to another House sit at the end of next week, that gives Hubby a few weeks to get in and paint the house and then we can get the carpet and tiles laid. We also have to unpack the sea container and get that removed. So much to do! Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 539Sep 04, 2013 11:27 pm Tracyw Glad pci went well. Two teen girls getting ready for school has been a nightmare The bath never gets used - just gathers dust. So a Spa for me was a better choice. Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Getting closer 540Sep 04, 2013 11:54 pm My thoughts exactly. I have 3 small kids so at the moment they use a bath but in a few yrs they wont. 2 of them are girls so im sure in a few yrs they would rather the extra bench space than the bath. And im hoping a day will come when i can actually have a bath myself and relax and it would have been nicer to do that far away from the chaos in my own ensuite rather than surrounded by all there crap. If i was at the planning stage now i would definately do it your way!! You are a wise woman!! My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64437 A question. Im in Queensland and building a new home.
