Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 29, 2012 12:59 pm Hi guys, we are building in SA - we have a property that is currently tenanted that will be knocked down and our new house built on this block. The existing driveway is on the wrong side and so we will be flipping the house so that the family/living area is north facing and have the driveway on the other side, which means we need to get the 'crossover to council' done. For those of you who have had to get this done: 1) Can you please advise how much you have been quoted/charged 2) Do we have to go through the concreters that is recommended by the council? 3) How far in advance do we have to organise this or should it be done towards the end so that the tradies don't ruin the new concreting!! Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
