We have the drains for the shower but no drains in the bathroom for excess drips and slashes. It seems that this is quite common for new builds. I am a bit annoyed that we missed this one This had me quite alarmed, so I've just emailed my CSO to check if our build was going to have them or if we had to request them specifically and she replied with: "Yes there must be floor wastes to any bathroom, toilet or laundry otherwise it wont be passed by council, so that is unusual!" I did the same! I was advised: Quote: There are floor wastes in the ensuite and bathroom only, not to the floor in the laundry. How on earth can they get away with not putting one in the laundry? A lot of houses built pre 1960 ish were like that. Floor drainage in laundry of a new house is a given.
