Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 22Oct 06, 2012 9:08 pm Oh no, hope you get better soon! I've spent the whole school holidays stuck in the house with sick children, I think it was flu. Hopefully the weather will cheer up soon, and clear up all the bugs going around! I didn't make it up today either, but I'm planning to pop over on Monday or Tuesday, to see our almost complete house! I can't wait to move in soon! Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 23Oct 06, 2012 9:30 pm Thanks.. Had to got to the docs this morning- wasn't getting any better- I'm starting to feel better now though...I got my other halfl to drag me out of bed yesterday so I went up to the block- still nothing happening up my way.. Drove down Belmont-- there's a few close to being completed!! -kacie Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 24Oct 07, 2012 9:52 am It won't be long before things start moving up round you. How are you going with choosing a builder. We are having our carpet laid on Monday, then we are pretty much finished. It's amazing really in just 12 weeks we went from a patch of muddy land to a complete home (minus driveway, and landscaping) Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 25Nov 13, 2012 11:07 am We moved in almost 2 weeks ago now, we are living our new home, but the NBN is proving an issue. We cant get connected to the nbn , and no one seems to be able to tell me why it's been delayed. We currently have no phone, no internet, and no tv! Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 27Nov 14, 2012 3:03 pm We went with urbanedge homes, but 8homes is the same group ( although it didn't exist when we signed up) they've been great though I've just heard the NBN isn't set to go live ( in stage 2) until the end of the month, it's such a nightmare, as telstra say it will then take them a further 3 weeks to have us set up! Not good Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 30Nov 20, 2012 9:27 pm Lol, true. I'm Lorna. I really just want to be able to use facetime to show my family (who are all in the UK) around my new house. Have you decided on a builder you like? I noticed there were a few site starts up in stage 3 this week. Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 32Nov 23, 2012 3:45 pm Yay, good choice, have you been to their new display in mernda- very nice. I took my 3year old on a bike ride up to see the new houses being built today (well more of a tractor spotting mission) but there was a lot going on! Hopefully it won't be too long until you get to site now - fingers crossed for you! Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 34Nov 23, 2012 9:41 pm I hope it all goes well! Looking forward to hearing what happens On sunday Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 36Dec 11, 2012 10:00 am Wow, exciting. You'll be moving in before you know it Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 38Dec 19, 2012 12:13 pm Lol, yep, it's hard to be patient at this point isn't it. We however still dont have a home phone or internet. It's getting very frustrating! Re: Anyone else building in Bridge Inn Rise? 40Dec 24, 2012 1:55 pm NBN don't seem to know what they are doing, first they were running behind with getting us ready, now they don't seem to be able to work out how to connect our house to the box in the nature strip - its all becoming a bit of a joke really! How are you guys doing? Have you got a site start date yet? A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 223632 Wish you all the best.
