HEY EVERYONE!

i just need some help with the floorplan! i want to add a WIR to one of the bedrooms (2, 3 or 4).. i am having troubles.. is anyone here good with designing??

i am converting the home theatre to a study..

Andrew, is there a specific reason you need a WIR to one of the bedrooms that would warrant reducing one of the other rooms to make room for? The space has to come from somewhere....

Here is my house plan, we have a WIR to B/R 2 as std.

Maybe you can move the toilet to a similar position as ours in the rear hallway and move the bathroom down towards the back of the house a bit and extend the length of the house slightly so that the B/R 3/4 are the same size or slightly larger...That way behind the toilet you can add a WIR to B/R 2? Hey if you evened up the entire back of the house with the larger bedrooms you would also increase the length of your rumpus area as well? Just a thought?

Oh yeah, and change the rumpus to a Home Theatre...like us!!!! :twisted:

Turn the whatever 'WIL' means into a 'WIR' for bedroom 2?

WIL usually means walk in linen.
YISSM has a good point - do you really need to walk into your linen press??

I'll be brave and join you in blasphemy, Andrew - I'm not into home theatres either.

I understand each individual word but the whole sentence just doesn't make any sense to me!

(Then again, I did take one look at our original plan, saw the home theatre and doubled it in size!) :lol:

Take the shower out of the bathroom (put it over the bath instead) and then you'd have plenty of space for a WIR in bedroom 3. Or, if you don't want a walk-in laundry, make that the WIR for Bed 2 perhaps.

Swap the "WIL" in the laundry so the door is in B2. The laundry appears big enough to cope without it, although there are no measurements.

Fill out into the TV recess area (or a little further) from B4 - you could do it 1500mm deep, (creating a bit of an alcove around the doorway into the short interconnecting hall) and then benefit B3 as well by swapping B4's original robe so it opens in B3 as well.

Make the alfresco smaller, move the Ensuite back, and put the walk in robe before the Ensuite.

Or, do it the other way around depending on how you like that layout.

I’m curious as to why you need another walk-in rob??

It’s obviously going to cut down on space in the rooms, so I can’t figure out why you would want to do it?

Perhaps you should be looking at a custom plan.

Hi Bed 4 is 3840 x 3340. take the tv recess out and put the WIR there but make it bigger into the room as it is longer than the others. Remove the old one on the wall from Bed 3.
It only needs to be 1500 deep.
