Looks great guys. So happy for you.
Regarding the booze. Quite an impressive collection but what are you going to do for next weekend?

Plus paintings we bought in the UK then promptly sent home and only just unpacked. Looks great. We don't know what to do along our stair walls either. Do you still have those delightful light shades? My Thread (Halls Head Beach House): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67006 Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 415Jun 20, 2014 10:02 am Sometimes I wish we had stairs just so I could do a photo gallery along it. Similar to modern family hehehe. Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65085 Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 416Jun 20, 2014 1:28 pm Its much more like a home once you get things up on the walls ![]() Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 417Jun 21, 2014 1:17 pm Looks great, really starting to look like a home now. Love the little features like the nooks you've put in for the pictures! Really looks amazing! It's so nice to see everything finally come together after so much planning. Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 418Jun 21, 2014 11:17 pm such a lovely wedding pic! we were married 1.5 years ago, haven't even print any wedding photos yet. Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 419Jun 22, 2014 2:29 am I don't post on here very often as Zaxon normally says it all ![]() However, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the lovely comments and positive feedback. Will be nice to post some pictures when everything is in its place and there aren't anymore boxes around! It is great to hear people say they like how it has all come together and how it looks though as I was always terrified that we were not good at the "big picture" stuff and would get it wrong. Especially as we have such a hodge podge of furniture due to hand me downs and old family pieces etc. I think it is working well though so far. I never thought I would enjoy pottering around at home so much either... I just don't want to leave this place! After so long in small apartments or living with the parentals, having all this space to ourselves feels somewhat surreal. I keep expecting I'll have to pack up and leave the "hotel" soon, only to then realise it is our home and I ain't going nowhere! It also feels great to have our art and photos up. Definitely does make it feel more like a home now. Big kudos to hubby for doing it this week as it was a really exciting feeling...and still lots more to frame and hang too so our stairwell definitely won't be bare for long! In particular, the wedding photo. That was pretty important as it was a clear winner from our wedding day, and it was gut wrenching to receive it just prior to our move overseas and hence to not get to enjoy it for the past 6 years whilst we were overseas or simply had nowhere to hang it. It is in pride of place now though and I love seeing it every morning as I come down the stairs ![]() We still have the lovely light fittings ![]() Anyways, that is my two cents worth. Hubby was telling me off for never posting so hopefully this will keep him happy for a while. Re: 101 Residential in Rivervale 420Aug 04, 2014 1:41 pm Been a while, how is the new home going? ![]() Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 You can also consider longer/wider footings for your deck, so you don't even bother with soil capacity calculations. 9 9644 |
