When we did our external colour selections, the colour consultant we had said external colours will appear 2 or 3 shades lighter than the colour card.
As an example, go to http://www.porterdavis.com.au then go to display locations and choose Craigieburn Prestige. To be honest I don't remember the colour for the render. But I guess it's something like on the next sketch.
