Not long now I'm sure your also looking forward to peace and quiet Re: First time builder - Ellenbrook - Painting started...! 682Nov 14, 2013 10:28 am Cant wait untill its all over. Ive been working still and then going out and painting every day after work or waiting for tradies and on my days off. Ive been getting home late at night and barely finding the time to eat oops lol. Re: First time builder - Ellenbrook - Painting started...! 683Nov 16, 2013 10:36 pm Another day of painting done, with a terrible hang over, uhh! Free beer and wine never ends well lol Should be a finished by tomorrow arvo. I have 1 coat left to put on the bathroom, toilet and laundry. The 2nd coat of paint is alot quicker to apply. Called my tiler this morning as my tiles were supposed to be delivered yesterday but they weren't. Apparently they are busy and cant start untill Tuesday now. Doesnt really matter as long as theyre done by the 25th when the carpet is laid. It also gives me Monday to vacuum the house and clean the bathrooms properly. Re: First time builder - Ellenbrook - Painting started...! 684Nov 16, 2013 10:57 pm I am dying to get into my house to clean the bathrooms lol never thought I'd say that but it's driving me nuts seeing them the way they are! Good work with the painting, massive job almost out of the way! Re: First time builder - Ellenbrook - Painting started...! 685Nov 16, 2013 11:17 pm Ive been dying to clean mine aswell. Theyre so dusty/sandy. No point doing it untill ive finished painting as im in and out of there and the concrete in the main areas makes a mess on my dark tiles after walking on them Cant wait untill my flooring is done! Re: First time builder - Ellenbrook - Painting started...! 686Nov 17, 2013 10:43 pm Finally finished painting today! 12 days all up, mostly by myself - had a little help sealing the walls by the boyfriend. Would have been done quicker if I took time off work, but im glad I didnt waste my annual leave on it! Tiling and paving to start on Tuesday. Heading out there tomorrow with a car load of stuff, and ready to do a big clean. Judging by your kitchen, I think they are a good choice. I'm thinking about that with white cabinet doors for my laundry.
