As suggested by many others, i have tried to fix price and upgrade things before signing the contract. For some unfixed items, we’re are at the mercy of the builder. I am hoping that the builder is reasonable when quoting price to us, as we have a very tight budget (still a student!)
*The price of our kitchen could not be fixed as it is a "new" design and no display model. I have posted the price of the upgrade elsewhere.

*Now the watertank. Instead of one big water tank, the builder was suggesting to have two smaller/slimline watertank because of the space consideration. The price of additional tank (Formit Watertank 2500L) is $1500 at Bunnings. But the quote from the builder is $ 1950 for the connection and setup. Is this reasonable?
*Expecting to pay more for a few allowance (such as wall basin, hand/rail showerhead)
*Expecting to pay "more" for the external wall lamps and installation of ceiling fans, as they could not be fixed (because different model have different complexity, the builder argued).
AGAIN, advice to anyone is to fix as much as possible.
