But they said before we signed Construction Contract that once we settled with Land it will take 6-8 weeks to start construction. I have full DRP approval 5 weeks back and they still saying they working on some engineer reports and water Board approval and than they will get CDC and they said all this take 6-7 weeks and than they will take 4 weeks to organise to start Construction and all. Is this true ? Thanks, Yep, unfortunately it is a looooonnnnnggg wait! (sorry it took so long to reply! I comment more regularly on my blog though.) Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 4371Oct 23, 2014 9:54 am champ243 Hi everyone, Anyone got contact details for Champion homes CEO or managing director? Has anyone got loan from commonwealth bank for the building construction? Hi champ243. Can't help with the CEO but we did use commonwealth bank for the building construction Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 4372Oct 28, 2014 9:55 am Hi Champ, Champion Homes worst in the market and I have not very good experience with them. I will not recommend them to anybody, their customer service and work and just negative and without any standard. Thanks, Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 4373Oct 29, 2014 10:25 pm Hi Champ,
I totally agree. I have actually written emails firing them back about their language and customer service quality. They behave as if they are paying for building our houses. Was there anything in particular they are pressing you with. They told me for every change now there will be a $600 admin fee for each change. Which I understand but the language and behaviour was really bad. The same goes for even their managers... I havent got it myself, but one of my mates who is building in penrith through EBh got a quote for it. He was quoted approx $1500 for the sound proofing. Apparently it is desirable to have it when u have two storey house. Hope that helps Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 4379Nov 17, 2014 5:51 pm sydneywiseman newcomer22 Has anyone done any sound proofing in the house. in the bedroom walls or the floor between upstairs and downstairs. Just wondered if that is for the floor only or the whole house. Highly appreciated the info. Thanks Well, my mate is building a single storey house. So, I believe it would be for the sound proofing of internal walls. You should be looking a bigger amount if you want sound proofing between the floors as well. Wish you all the best.
