Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 13Jul 10, 2012 11:21 pm Oh ok yes I know how u feel we put a deposit in nov 2011 signed tender in feb 2012 and contract in may our land has been registered since may and we are still waiting to go to council it feels like it never going to happen. We are still looking at. Atleast another 2 moths sometime I wish we just bought a house and just moved straight in Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 14Jul 11, 2012 10:25 pm Hi Inspiration, I understand that in your case it was slow but your land was not registered and it would not make much difference, but if land is registered and ready for built than those "administration" delays are not acceptable. I think that this Landcom process with preferred builders and linking land settlement to home design stinks. We should organise something on this forum and complain to state government. Landcom is serving us on a plate to those builders and they do as they please. Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 15Jul 11, 2012 10:32 pm our land was ment to register in feb 2012 but didnt end up until may. What stay are u up to have u had any appointment e.g tile, colours we just finished our last which was electrical im so glad all that is over we got good news today we are finally going to council yay!!! Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 17Jul 11, 2012 10:59 pm i find with wisdom u have to keep on ring them and making sure it's getting done the person that we dealt with at tender stage was very very slow i was very unhappy with him and had to call head office and complain because nothing was getting done but the person halding my file berfore construction is amazing and very halpful so it will get better (fingers crossed) what did u thing bout de lorenzo and pgh ? Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 18Jul 11, 2012 11:30 pm Sales person in display home is excellent but back office takes their time as they know we are locked in. De Lorenzo pricey and if not happy with package inclusions than it's $$$$$$$$$$ Tempelle looks slightly better but will see at the appointment. Bricks- Austral looks better quality than PGH (recommended at tender presentation) in the same price range (RRP) but Wisdom couldn't tell me price diff between "inclusive" and "B" range Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 19Jul 12, 2012 12:18 am Yes the sales guy at bunya is good. Timpelle was good we upgraded $8000 Pgh brick standard range we did get a quote to upgrade but it wad like 10k. De Lorenzo spent $700 but electrical was another $5000 but I guess at the end of the day it's what u like and what your budget allows and we also half added expense because of bunya like needing to add more render the latest one was adding another retaining wall to our landscape plan Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you.
