We liked their design and the way salesperson presented things to us(Very accomodative ). I know lot of pals had issues with CH but I am still inclined to go ahead with them because of reasons mentioned above. Any heads up or suggestions before I sign the tender, would be gretly appreciated. People have asked for changes to contracts (eg for provisions), but most builders decline the request. Remember at the sales stage everything is a yes yes....once you pay the big deposit, thats when its the builders way or the highway. So dont expect everything to go perfectly smoothly...accept a few annoyances, and you will enjoy your build. A lot of things people will not openly discuss on the forum..so when you meet people in person, you will get a few more pointers. A lot of us are at BUNYA almost everyday (I am there around 4 to 4:30......or a bit later at 6:30), so come for a drive and meet us there The person you will probably get the most helpful info from is WHYTEE and all of us others will also try our best to assist. Welcome once again. Re: Anyone building at bunya??? 3616Oct 28, 2013 12:29 pm Sting1, Thanks for your advice. I am quite happy with the design from CH albeit minor changes/inclusions here and there. This is my first home and I think I am a bit naive at this moment and my learn overtime. I live 30Km away from Bunya but will try to come to see you guys on my off days. I am a closet fan of WHYTEE and have learned a lot from her posts and looking forward to see her more insightful comments. I hope it helps. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. It is a steep learning curve building your first home. But I guess we'll see how it goes. Not packing yet mate, lock-up is just when the externals are finished. We will still have all the internals to go, house probably won't be ready until April (according to contract). Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you.
