Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 29, 2012 4:14 pm Hi All, Ok heres my situation, went to builder to sign tenders and contracts yesterday, site costs came to 30,000 over expected (they said they hit rock and so forth) and there finance broker estimated due to more money needing to be borrowed our monthly payments went completely out of budget. i refused to sign tenders/contracts and left. anyway, spoke to our bank and they assured me that my payments cannot possible go up another 500 a month due to the extra borrowing. so payments are back on track and we have decided to go ahead. Now henley have booked us for an appointment tomm to sign contracts but not to do tenders. they said we can do post contract tenders and im worried. Has anyone else ever done this? (we need to fhog hence the rush) and what happens if we sign contracts and not happy with tenders, can changes be made after contract already signed? whats the go in this situation?!? Thank you!!
