Yeah current FIT in Qld is 8c plus perhaps another 8c from the retailer. Given that I wouldn't install a 5KW system now as it would never really pay for itself. Only install a system big enough to cover your day time needs, in my case that would only be about 2KW. Should be enough to screen the houses behind me but still leave the view to the bush.
