Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 25, 2012 8:58 am We are just about to have handover with our new build which has unprimed wooden doors and windows. I've just recently learned that the best time to seal these doors and windows was before they were put up. Now we are faced with the job of taking them down to seal them. Has anyone done this before and can say how they went about it? For example, did you take them down one by one and put all three coats on before putting them back up? Or did you take them all down at once? From other posts I've read on this forum some people seem to have taken months to seal their doors and windows. I'm just wondering how this works with a house that you have to try and live in as well. Any help/ advice would be appreciated.
