Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 15, 2008 12:00 pm Hi,
We are looking to demolish a cement sheeting home in rosebud. It is on a sandy flat base. I can't seem to get a straight answer from any of the big builders we are looking at. Has anyone had any experience with this situation? I have heard reports of site costs blowing out to thousands of dollars? Can I get site costs before we demolish the old house Re: site costs asbestos mornington penninsula 2Mar 15, 2008 6:49 pm We were given site costs before we demolished. We had soil tests done and they put site costs in as fixed except two provisional costs for retaining walls. Our site costs are close to $50,000 - sad but we looked at different options - and the only cheaper one was to sell our block and buy another. We decided to bite the bullet. Our site is classified P and is full of reactive clay and on a slope. Fi has moved in!! What you are looking at is fibrous plaster, true gypsum, it is cast on horizontal beds with fibers included to give strength. I has no Asbestos in it. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13091 |
