I will post as many as I can.. The problem is there is hardly any progress other than tiling done for the first storey. We have a fair bit of roof left to do downstairs. I promise to go trigger this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does ring us evry Friday and give a update of what work has been done and where it is upto.
The Status is Upper Level Roof Complete, Facia and Gutter had to reworked for some reason and the whole roof 100% is expected by coming thursday. Our house design is more complex than a standard home where there is only 1 level roof and this could be the reason for the delay. Will get what photos I can get my hands on the weekend Buildling a Clarendon Crestmead in Sydney DA Approved on 20/03/2008 Slab Poured on 02/09/2008 Frame Completed 15/10/2008 Brickwork Complete 2/02/2009 Roofwork Complete 05/03/2009 Re: Building the "Clarendon Crestmead" 71Feb 20, 2009 1:52 pm Lobo,

Sounds like some good luck for you and no doubt your good will to make it work. Our SS is a different person and possibly slightly different circumstance. SS has the coverage of Shire + Illawarra with 21 sites. Sounds unsustainable and probably one of the main contributing factors to the customer experience. Particularly visible now as every site came back online after Xmas break. Although the loading of 21 sites probably isn't his doing I sense it is treated as a badge of honour. 21 sites/week = less than 2 hrs. Over 30 weeks = 60hrs @80/hr=$4800. I reckon our quote was built with more than that in it. gongbuilding Re: Building the "Clarendon Crestmead" 75Feb 23, 2009 4:17 pm http://docs.google.com/Present?docid=dcqp3cqt_198d8t6x395&skipauth=true
My frame has been exposed to weather by far the longest compared to Southies and Even eho .... See the Rot ? See the Floor Boards ? by the time my roof is 100% done it will be 4.5 months of weather exposure. Any Comments not sure what to do other than share my sorrow with you guys Buildling a Clarendon Crestmead in Sydney DA Approved on 20/03/2008 Slab Poured on 02/09/2008 Frame Completed 15/10/2008 Brickwork Complete 2/02/2009 Roofwork Complete 05/03/2009 Re: Building the "Clarendon Crestmead" 76Feb 23, 2009 4:57 pm Frame timbers can be replaced or braced, as ours have been. We had our framing timbers inspected by the supplier & even with their OK, repairs were carried out.
Insist C get the timber supplier out, to check your frame. Otherwise, it looks serious enough to get out an independant inspector. It does look very rotten in places doesn't it. C&G -------------------------------- A new building chapter begins.. Re: Building the "Clarendon Crestmead" 78Feb 23, 2009 7:19 pm Realistically, C won't replace the boards no matter what the supplier says. If you dig in your heels, C will just make life hell for you & drag out the build even further.
Just get C to screw down the flooring. That's pretty much all you can hope for. ANd it's the LEAST they should do for dragging this out. Otherwise, it looks serious enough to get out an independant inspector. I will ask the SS about this ASAP. I am getting howard to do a independent pre plaster inspection of the home. I was disgusted at the Rot its all over even downstairs where the water has been falling down from the floor above. I hope Clarendon are realistic about this and fix the Frame and floorboards where necessary. I am sure there are customers reading this forum about Clarendons building process! I have been patient with them hoping to get the Roof done. Believe it or not nobody worked on our job today ! I can't believe I started so long ago and I am still here.. I will take this up with the SS and report back what happens. I really hope it all gets sorted soon.
How can builders do this to homeowners! it's just heart breaking! the stair balustrades? There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 6747 The two 15mm holes are obviously not compliant. The Dept of Fair Trading would love to see this one! Do the gutters pool water after it stops raining? Although it's… 4 7872 |
