We had our meeting with pool people today (pool installed Monday week) and they said our pump must be at least 2 metres from pool. Wondering if there is any provisions on this?i.e behind wall of water feature??? Also wondering if the pool company did your water feature or did you organise it yourself?? The pool company wanted to charge us around $3k for similar size to yours. Building the Riva by Dale Alcock Homes. We weren't too sure if the electical equipment being behind the water feature reduced the 2m distance but has we had the space we didn't pursue it any further. Our water feature was done by a different company. The price sounds about right for our water feature which was 2.5m wide by 1.6m high with returns, cladding to face and returns, bull nosing and a 900mm water blade. So if you're getting something similar, price is reasonable. We are considering building the Archipelago with Dale Alcock but are living overseas until December so can't look at display homes or a block. Had a look at the plan you posted.. just wondering how many sqm the floor plan comes to and how big your block is? We need to build a 5 bed and study so that is why I am interested in your design. A house this size may be out of our price range though.. Re: Dale Alcock Build in Secret Harbour 150Sep 23, 2013 3:18 pm Busywithfour, Our block is 659sqm and the house floor size is 263sqm. If you add in garage, alfresco and the two verandas, the total area size is 373sqm. DAH do have some designs that may meet your requirements or can be tweaked so that they will. Our house was the combination of two houses plus the addition of a Poppy flat. The starting price isn't too bad, it's what you add that is the problem. My Secret Harbour Build https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=57248 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
