Re: Building contract 3Jun 11, 2012 10:32 am Attend signing appointment, don't sign. Take a copy of contract stating you need to read through it without pressure. Ask for an appointment time in a weeks time to actually sign then get up and walk out. Don't let them pressure you. Take your time. They apply pressure for you to follow their timetable. Our builder provided a copy of the HIA contract but not our contract until the day. We signed on the day, but you can take it away and sign later.
