Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 3Jun 10, 2012 3:48 pm I stumbled across your floorplan the other day GardenofNeedn-58. Looks great! How have you found Red Ink so far? They seem to have very good communication compared to another company we were originally dealing so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way throughout the build. I'm going to post photos of the colour schemes we are considering soon I swear we have been through every display home in Perth! Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 4Jun 10, 2012 4:00 pm Woo another vale-ian Your plan looks great - the big living area with the alfresco looks perfect for entertaining! Where about's in Vale have you got land, closer to Millhouse Rd or closer to the new IGA/Sales office end. Good luck with everything! Done it once.. Lived in it a year.. Sold it.. Doing it again! Garden and I are in scheduling atm wooo hooo for us heheehh So far i have had a wonderful experience dealing with redink, no major issues other then my current frustration of waiting to find out when the date will be for slab down but i guess that is just my extreme lack of patience We had a fantastic Sales rep who woed us in and a great Prestart girl who has been extremely accommodating throughout this whole experience... I am currently building in Lake Coogee Estate which is just south of fremantle I hope everything is going great for you and btw I love your colour choices Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 9Jun 10, 2012 4:59 pm Looking good, love the changes you have made to the original design. It seems odd that there wasn't a door on the loo! Good move adding a walk in robe Colour selection looks great! Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 10Jun 10, 2012 7:01 pm Hey all, This awful rainy weather wouldnt be helping with your slab timing marybond! I also have an extreme lack of patience so I don't know how I will go once we actually start the build! I can't wait for prestart! Hopefully we get someone thats as good as yours sounds marybond. I have been stalking your thread for a while haha, your floorplan looks great! Thanks everyone for the well wishes alt0160 - There was originally a door to the toilet.... the draftsgirl accidently moved it when making all the changes we requested, needless to say we asked for it to go straight back haha, would be rather awkward to have no door on the toilet! Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 11Jun 10, 2012 8:10 pm TLC22 Hey wrethm01! Our lot is in Egerton Village, so over near the new IGA/Sales office end! Where abouts are you guys located? Haha! I'm certainly partial to a good wine! My partner and I have been living in Aveley since December 2010 and its really an awesome suburb to live in. Super safe and all the parks are so well kept! Is there going to be a Woolworths at the Town Centre on Millhouse???? Thats awesome! Ellenbrook Woolworths is always so packed. Haha that is an ooopsie. Definately awkward, i even close the door when im home alone Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 14Jul 14, 2012 12:50 am So this is our basic timeline so far: Offer on land: 26 May 2012 Finance pre-approval: 30 May 2012 Signed PCQ: 10 June 2012 Settlement Extension Approved: 22 June 2012 Site Survey: 10 July 2012 Finance approval subject to building contracts: 13 July 2012 We are now waiting on Red Ink to get our building contracts and drawings done! Cannot wait to book in pre-start and for things to get moving! We have been to the tile selection shops twice and since have completely reversed the colour sections we were going for the bathroom and ensuite haha. We are now going to have the following: Bathroom and Ensuite: - Benchtop: Essastone Crystal Chalk http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg530/Tiffany_Crago/pannacotta.jpg - Cupboard Doors: Formica Snowdrift Gloss - Wall Tiles: White Gloss 200 x 400 - Floor tiles: Rectified porcelain tiles 300 x 300, Urban Moka http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg530/Tiffany_Crago/IMG_0440.jpg We are still undecided on our feature tiles!!! It's soo hard to choose! Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 15Jul 14, 2012 8:43 am Congratulations on progress.... I love you colour selection, very light and fresh its going to look really nice.... Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 17Jul 14, 2012 5:32 pm The Grande has been really easy to modify! The only annoying thing with the standard Grande is the position of the garage... We had to move the garage backward into the master bedroom by 25cm and move the front two bedrooms 25cm forward because it's one of the developers conditions that the garage cannot be more than 2 metres in front of the rest of the house! Very bizarre! Thanks Marybond! Your build is coming up fast!! So jealous hehe Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 18Jul 14, 2012 6:22 pm had to have a laugh at saying you changed colour selections already. i was so the same. i even went again 2 days b4 prestart and changed it all again. it was one of those tasks that just did my head in. Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 19Jul 15, 2012 12:17 am Haha! I'm glad we're not the only ones! I'm so indecisive and worry that the small samples will look uglier in a large scale! haha I think our selections are pretty nuetral and safe so it should be all good! Anyone got any recommendations for good priced lighting shops in the northern suburbs or online? We have been to HS Reflections and International Lighting and had lighting consultations but now we are on the hunt for more competitive prices as HS Reflections were quite $$$! Re: Our build with Red Ink Homes - Aveley :) 20Jul 15, 2012 12:02 pm the Beacon Lighting group arent too badly priced. not a HUGE range, but there is some nice stuff. ive seen some really nice oyster styles that i am going to get nearer to handover.
