I have checked the new houses that have been built so far (single and double storey) an none of them seem to have underground electricity. Therefore I am guessing that having an underground electrical pit install is going to cost me a fortune. I am building in the Springvale area. Is there a legal requirement for us to put an underground electrical pit or can we get away by having an overhead electrical line to the new house?
