Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 04, 2012 8:39 am Hi, We have signed up to build in Wildwood Estate. Building the 'Uluru' with New Generation homes. Just wondering if anyone is also building there? We are waiting on title release this month so we can start! Very exciting and scary! This is our first build! Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 2Jun 04, 2012 4:56 pm Hi, congrats on entering the housing market!! Have fun and enjoy the experience. Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 4Jun 16, 2012 11:48 am Hi Svranjic, We brought in stage 1B. We have since been advised that title release won't be until early August. The initial date was mid July. Hoping they haven't pushed it back again! We were hoping that we could be in our completed house by late Feb! What stage did you buy in? Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 5Jun 16, 2012 12:40 pm We also purchased in 1B!!! Did the developer contact you regarding expected title release? We were told mid july and all the paperwork given to us stated the same. But when I called yesterday to find out how it was going I was told it was always August for stage 1B, stage 1A was July. They are now expecting titles at the end of August for1B. Did you take one of the corner blocks in front of the park? We are on Wildwood Mews. I think 1B were the best lots as they are the highest elevated ones. Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 6Jun 16, 2012 9:00 pm Arrrgghh great! We were always told mid July. Thanks for the info though, good to know when it's going to be. Getting frustrated, seems to be moving further behind where we want to be. But anyway! Yes, we are on Mohan link, we have a corner block opposite the park. So we must be close to eachother! We paid our deposit a few months ago now ( I think back in march?) so it's been a waiting game! We had chosen our house and done finance ect. Now just gotta wait for the titles!! Are you going to build straight away? Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 7Jun 17, 2012 2:51 am We are two blocks up from you. We would have been your neighbours as we wanted the block next to you facing the park but it sold first so we missed out. We bought at pre release in March and they were selling quick!!
We are hoping to build early next year and are at the prep of plans stage. Have you been going out on site? We were told off by the site supervisor for being out there and havent returned since. Re: Anyone building in Carramar (wa) 8Jun 17, 2012 10:53 am Wow so we are close! Yes they did sell fast. My husband was camping out by the phone all morning waiting for the time to tick over! We actually met the couple who did get the middle block on mohan link while we were at site the other day. She had said she was first to get in back in march and scored that middle block. We wanted the corner as it was practical for our house design and my husband liked the side access aspect. We go on site only on weekends. We always check it out first to make sure no one is there. If its blocked off, we park next to the barriers and walk down Pinjar rd. we live 2 hours from site (the build is so we can move to Perth from the country) so we only ever can get there on weekends. Most times we go Sunday's as there is no one there, just to check out progress. It was lucky we went a few weeks ago as we noticed our block had been fully retained across the front. We worried that we couldn't have a front facing driveway the same as what is in our plans, but the project manager advised us the wall would be cut out to allow for the drive. So I definitely recommend checking on your block!!! Great to hear you will be building soon the aspen has been a popular build from what I have read in other threads!
