Thanks in advance. Hi JR We are building the Montrose 32 in Geelong. I can't remember any of the colour choices, that was the wife's department, I just sat and nodded and added up the upgrades (which wasn't too bad). But your choice in roof tile colors sounds familiar. We did all of that in September last year, and since then had to wait for our land to title. Once that happened it took about 4 weeks to get a site cut, another 2 for a slab and then 1 week for the frame. That is where we are up to at the moment. Hope that helps. Sounds promising. Yeah, wife chose the colour too. I just copied it and posted here. haha Did you get any of the three inspections started? dont have any trouble so far? We are really looking forward to the start of our home construction. Do you have any photos to share? Dont know how to post pics here though. Im keen to post some but dont know how to. We have just gone with the inspections that they organize so far. Looking forward to see how it looks. = ) Good to hear that there are no hassles so far. Did they send you the progress payment as base stage + frame stage combined? Does your bank pay them directly with your authorisation? I signed my contract last 26-Jun but still with the bank for processing of my loan. I got the montrose for 239k with little upgrades like the fawn bricks, etc. Do you think they won't decrease its valuation? I asked my bank (NAB) and they are saying that 99% of the time, their valuation comes out the same as the price in the contract since its a construction contract. Excited for the site start! Is your house finished? We were just informed that our facade has part render in the package, so that's a plus. Thanks We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37142 Carlisle use to sneak a water resistant "Performance Solution" into their contracts.
