Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 01, 2012 9:56 pm Hi everyone. Would love to document our build and share with you. Firstly, after 12 months of very patient waiting our blocks in Bridgman Ridge have finally registered on the 31st May (2012) with a settlement date of 14th June 2012. We have just signed off on our tender and are currently waiting on working drawings to come back so as to move onto selections. The smoothness of what I'm typing unfortunately does not express the sheer excitement on firstly just having the blocks registered after having the date put back again and again. (since approx sept 2011 give or take :/ ) Can anyone tell me how to upload pics as we progress? I am on my iPhone and am thinking I will have to use laptop for picture uploads? TIA Danielle Re: •Bridgman Ridge• our Procorp build 3Sep 18, 2012 2:55 pm Been a while since updates but atm we are waiting on our Home Owners Warranty Certificate and then onto our pre construction meeting. Found the selections process extensive but very exciting. A brief rundown of our selections are EXTERIOR •Brick-Austral Metropolis Topaz (flush with off white mortar) •Roof- Colorbond Monument •Fascia-Dune •Gutter-Monument •Downpipe-Dune •Windows-Dune •Garage door- Contemporary in Dune •Front door- 1200mm XN5 with stain finish I'll post interior asap Re: •Bridgman Ridge• our Procorp build 4Sep 30, 2013 10:15 pm Wow. Did not get far with this thread when disaster struck in the form of our builder going into administration on Nov 13th 2012. I don't wish to recount the nightmare of that only to say that after months of paperwork, waiting, phone calls and a final approval by us to go ahead with our new builder being Sekisui House (AV Jennings). At this stage we are up to gyprock with cornices due to start tomorrow October 1st. If we are in by Christmas I will be over the moon. Last week our SS said 5 weeks to go. Quite optimistic but fingers crossed. I'll upload some more pics of colours etc later tonight Re: •Bridgman Ridge• our Procorp build 9Oct 01, 2013 8:05 am that is fantastic to be able to celebrate christmas in your new home Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17598 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23765 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 23889 |
