We were told we would get no credit at all if we took it out. I was a little surprised, but meh. It was still cheaper for us to get the upgrade pack than to do all the other upgrades separately, which was our other option. I think we got about a $50 credit for each batten light we took out, which was the same as it cost to add one. They more than made their money back on the down lights we replaced them with Re: Builders credit back... 6May 24, 2012 3:40 pm $0.00 to remove Soap Dish Orchid 4200 with Burbank: Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53034 House Built in 7 Months and 2 weeks Re: Builders credit back... 7May 24, 2012 3:51 pm We got a credit of $150 for a flyscreen sliding door. We didn't want to have it, so got it deleted. But...guess we got yesterday! The flyscreen sliding door...so we got it for FREE! And we are now happy to have it, not only as it is free, but because money is running out and we don't want to get the security screen straight away! $320 credit for the rail and shelf in our WIR. Thought this was a good credit! $288 credit for deleting tiling in the laundry. Thought this was a not so good credit! BUT the tiler forgot he wasn't tiling the laundry and he screeded it before realising. So that is a bonus...free screeding! $28 credit for soap holder...which is how much the soap holder is online at the suppliers website...so know we didn't get ripped off on that!:) $65 credit for deleting the glazing bars. $132 credit to delete a pantry shelf...they actually put that shelf in too, so if we had wanted to keep it, we would have gotten that for free too! I think overall, they have genuinely given us back the full amount for supply and install for all our credits!
