Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 21, 2012 12:55 pm Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. We will be building a two storey project home (brick) in Sydney. Due to supply issues, we have been told to use Austral Brick. Two appeal (that are included as standard offer) Couture Chiffon (Dark Grey) and Couture Argent (Light Grey). Really want to use one of those or a combination maybe. ?? Wife really wants the dark one (and we have looked at several homes over Sydney using that brick). My concern is that it may look like a castle seeing as the whole house would be the same dark grey colour. She also wants a dark grey or black roof, whereas I am leaning towards a light grey roof. Anyone have any experince with these coulors or anyone have any opinion that may assist ?? Thank you. Sounds like you'll have to flip a coin. But seriously, colours depends on your facade design and personal choices. Have now been told we can wait until later to pick a brick & tile, and a colour consultant can assist which is good news. We have pretty much looked at every house using the bricks (that Austral would tell us). Thank you.
