Nice style ...bit cape cod??... Let's hope the state of the house internally does not look anything like that mess on the outside. Re: Show us your builders mess! 7May 20, 2012 11:25 pm Mike, Love your facade!! Especially the corner windows upstairs... About the mess? I think it's still acceptable ... Re: Show us your builders mess! 14May 21, 2012 9:22 am Mike - We had a small fenced off area for rubbish but there wasn’t much building stuff in it, it was all the rubbish of ‘our friendly neighbours’- an old pram, printer, gift wrap from a present, cardboard package off someone else’s hot water tank, etc. Lynne Y & MegLeigh89 – You may have to learn to put up with it as it seems to be the norm. I sent this email to our building company “On another matter, when you look into our yard from our neighbours above all you can see is water and rubbish - leftover sarking and insulation, discarded building material of many descriptions, food wrappers, empty drink containers etc and we worry about what effect the water could be having on the slab. It has been like this for a long time and we wonder how long will this pigsty remain until it is cleaned?” This was the reply “We will also raise your concern regarding water impacting on the slab, please note that the site is a construction site and as such will have rubbish and left over building materials until practical completion.” And that was the end of that!! (Following on from discussions on two other threads). But I am with gogo - these messes all pale in comparison to mine. Just need to get a photo. We haven't got any skips. I know I have been very lucky with my clean guys (my posting on the other thread was not serious...) but I can't believe how these builders behave. Surely they now that it's easier to clean as you go?? Maybe I should be the judge seeing as you all scoff my builders attempts at messiness ? lol Re: Show us your builders mess! 18May 21, 2012 10:30 am Mine was pretty bad to the extent where I had to lay on the ground and flapping my arms and legs to make a trail to the garage door. Luckily my mum and I went to clean up (as we did on a number of occasions during the build) shortly prior to plastering or the mouldy horrible sandwich still encased in gladwrap would have been a permanent fixture of my home Broker here - legislation says that every true broker must put the clients best interests before theirs so in theory they must offer you the best options for you on their… 2 46013 Look at your bill from the electricity company.
