Re: Glazing Bars on Windows 5May 18, 2012 9:54 am they are cosmetic only- they can be colonial bars or leadlight diamonds, or single horizontal bars (there are many ways they can be added for effect). I've never heard of them falling off, our's didn't, but they certainly collect dirt and make it harder to clean the windows. Window cleaners charge more to do the little colonial squares as well. Thanks They can be installed later, but they normally come out on the windows. They can fall off, but usually they stay on as they are stuck on using silicone.
